Meet Anna Mannion, the talented founder. Not only is Anna the owner, but she also excels as a skilled Scriptwriter and Producer too.
Anna’s journey in the film industry began as a humble runner, diligently climbing the ladder in various roles, including ‘Script Development,’ ‘Production Management,’ and ‘Production Accountancy.’ During her career, she had the privilege of working for renowned production companies in both the UK and Ireland, such as ‘Tiger Aspect,’ ‘Hat Trick Productions’ and ‘Vision Independent Productions’.
Anna’s producing career officially commenced when she co-produced the short film ‘Skip to the End,’ which received funding from the RTE Storyland scheme. Shortly after this, in 2019, she took the bold step of establishing ‘Tri Moon Films.’
Since then, she hasn‘t looked back and every day she wakes up feeling extremely grateful and excited to be doing the job that she’s doing. One of Anna’s biggest passions is helping and nurturing others to recognise their own talents. She loves working with all the creatives in bringing exciting projects to fruition.
Anna’s Training includes completing the ‘Advanced Producing Programme’ – run by Screen Ireland and TUD in 2019. In 2021 (supported by Screen Ireland), she attended the ‘‘Series Women’ programme with the Erich Pommer Institut. She has also trained in Scriptwriting under the fantastic Script Editor Elish Kent, through IADT and most recently completed the Showrunner programme with Jeff Melvoin through John Yorke Story.
Meet Matt, the brilliant Development Consultant. With a passion for storytelling that began in the world of theatre, Matt’s journey into the realm of film development has been nothing short of extraordinary.
His career took off as he delved into the fascinating world of assessing novels for adaptation, leaving an indelible mark on esteemed production houses such as: Celador, Euston Films, Miramax, and Film Four. Channel 4 recognized his exceptional talent and welcomed him into their editorial team, where he contributed his expertise to shaping exceptional projects.
Matt’s creative prowess led him to collaborate with renowned production houses such as Granada, Lime, Digital Fiction Factory, and Buccaneer. There, he worked on captivating productions for esteemed networks like: CBBC, BBC 1, E4, and ITV scripted by Sally Wainwright and Jonathan Harvey amongst others.
Matt’s focus now lies primarily in script development, where he works his magic in nurturing and refining ideas. His collaborative spirit has led him to work alongside a diverse range of talented writers, including: Naomi Alderman, Malorie Blackman, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Debby Moggach, Jeanette Winterson, Mark Ravenhill, and Florian Zeller, among others.
Beyond his work at Tri Moon Films, Matt’s dedication to the craft extends to teaching and mentoring aspiring storytellers with the prestigious John Yorke Story. As the Development Consultant, Matt is at the forefront of igniting cinematic brilliance, making Tri Moon Films a true force to be reckoned with.

Meet Sophie, the creative powerhouse behind our development and business affairs. With a remarkable journey that began in the heart of casting, Sophie’s expertise has graced esteemed projects such as: “Journey’s End” (Directed by Saul Dibb), ‘The More You Ignore Me’ (Directed by Keith English), ‘Time of Our Lives’ (Directed by Roger Goldby), and ‘Star Fish’ (Directed by Bill Clark) while working as an associate for the renowned Ros and John Hubbard at Hubbard Casting.
Sophie’s passion for the industry led her to Des Hamilton Casting, where she flourished as a Casting Director and played an instrumental role in noteworthy ventures like “Hilma” (Directed by Lasse Hallström), the Netflix sensation “Top Boy,” the mesmerising “The King” (Directed by David Michôd), and the delightful “Jojo Rabbit” (Directed by Taika Watiti). Not stopping there, Sophie also contributed her casting brilliance to several indie projects and short films, leaving an indelible mark in the world of cinema.
Equipped with a master’s in Entertainment Law, Sophie’s passion for the art of storytelling, combined with her legal acumen, has made her a valuable asset to the Tri Moon team. In April 2023, she made the bold decision to leave the glimmering lights of London behind, trading it for the serene beauty of Sligo. Upon arriving in Sligo she joined Tri Moon Films as their dedicated Development and Business Affairs Executive.
